Solar Flux

Just saw a big flashy story claiming that there was a massive coronal mass ejection on May 4th.
A bald faced lie. There was some modest activity, and a big hole formed that has the possibility to squirt something at us. It didn’t, and as usual, the event was primarily of interest to those engaged in high frequency radio communications.
The story came from an INGSOC “scientist” who was no doubt taking a break from his day job promoting The Great Global Warming Hoax, so that explains a lot.

In real life, solar activity has definitely leveled off, which leaves us on track for the lowest solar activity in recorded history. An ideal condition to test the global cooling theory.

Still ignoring Ron Paul

If the state media mentions Ron Paul these days, it is only to reinforce the patently false idea that he is a member of “The Libertarian Party”.

Did you ever Google that?  There is no such thing as THE libertarian party.  There is no Libertarian platform either. Libertarian ideals range from outright weird to staunchly conservative, which means, they have not yet defined themselves.

For that reason, I marked them “politically uninteresting” many years ago.  I would say that if you have a Libertarian running against a democrat or RINO, the Libertarian would generally be a better choice.

Paul is running as a Republican, and he promises to support conservative ideals.  If some of his ideas seem a little far out to you, remember that he cannot stick to The Constitution and implement plans and programs not approved by your representatives, so don’t worry about it.

Enjoy the low CO2 while you can

I see a new technique for measuring past CO2 levels has been developed.  The process appears to be scientifically sound, and uses information different from other methods.

Final results were pretty much the same though.  That is, that CO2 levels and temperature have been much higher several times, and long prior to human existence.

Some may remember me writing about similar measurements involving the use of ice core samples a few years ago.  The objective of that study, carried out by perpetrators of The Great Global Warming Hoax, was to show that climate change could occur much more rapidly “than previously thought”, thus lending credibility to their claim that doom is imminent.  Not only did that study show that it could, but that it did happen.  Significant temperature changes in as little as ten years.  A number of times in fact.

The bad news, was that both short and long term global warming was followed by periods of global cooling.

Well, at least the pseudo-scientists got something right for a change.

Solar Flux Index

Despite the surge of solar activity a couple of weeks ago, the general downward trend in the Solar Flux Index has continued.  This could mean that solar activity has peaked early, or, that we are in a double peak cycle, which does happen.  The second peak is normally about the same so we are still on track for the lowest solar activity in recorded history.

As I write this we are getting a burst of sun spots.  As usual, this will make radio communications enthusiasts happy.  I wouldn’t expect it to alter the solar flux by much though.

Obamacare

The thing was passed in the dark of night through deceit and trickery, with no democratic input from citizens of The Republic.  That the entire package is unconstitutional is a no-brainer.

What we should be doing, is making it clear to the politicians that they will be unemployed if Obamacare is not repealed.  Repeal does not require input from communist judges.

Cutting NPR funds

Republicans have introduced a bill to cut federal funding of National Public Radio.  Not a huge savings, but socialists have more than enough big money sources to fund their own propaganda stations.  There is no earthly reason why they should be spending hard earned cash from those who have no interest in their efforts.

Representatives Braley, Boswell, and Loebsack voted “NO”.

King and Latham voted “YES”.

To get NPR off the public dole, vote democrats out of office.

Geraldo Rivera and the “Latins”

New Speak for Republicans who claim some sort of “Latin” descent:  LINOS

Apparently, if you or your ancestors spoke/speak some dialect of Spanish, and you are a conservative, you are no longer classified as “Latin”.  According to two world famous authorities on that subject, Rivera and Sharpton, “Latin” is, and must be, a synonym for “communist”.

How about we just refer to our citizens as “Americans”?

Baby Boomers Will Crush Social Security

No Ponzi can ever succeed.  Failure is built into the scheme.  The baby boom may have accelerated the pace,  but it was the Marxist regime of FDR that is the actual cause of of the problem.

Now we have a carbon copy regime in power.  If we don’t get them out now,  government debt will compound faster than a nuclear chain reaction.

To get a handle on the national debt, vote democrats out of office at every opportunity.
